UNA FESTA
Short Movie collaboration
In the summer of 2025, I worked with director Giacomo De Agostini on an independent short film as Director of Photography. We collaborated with a community of actors, scenographers, and audio producers to bring the story to life. The film blurs dream and reality, and my role was to shape its atmosphere through framing, light, and visual language. This project reinforced my belief in storytelling as a collaborative, community-driven practice.

Context &
collaborative process
The film was produced as an independent collaboration with a community of actors, scenographers, and audio producers in Italy. Working within a small team required flexibility, trust, and constant dialogue, allowing visual decisions to evolve directly from the story and performances.
This process reinforced the idea of filmmaking as a shared creative practice, shaped as much by relationships as by technical choices.
Visual Atmosphere
My role focused on shaping the film’s atmosphere through light, composition, and pacing. Framing choices were guided by emotional tone rather than narrative exposition, allowing moments to linger and unfold quietly.
The camera operates as an observer, supporting intimacy and ambiguity rather than directing attention too forcefully.
Designing for storytelling
Una Festa reflects my interest in storytelling as a collective and experiential process. The project strengthened my approach to visual narrative, emphasizing sensitivity to context, collaboration, and restraint.
This experience continues to inform how I think about storytelling across design, film, and interactive work.
