Spada Winery

Branding & Marketing collateral

Spada Winery is where I learned to stretch across mediums, from packaging and branding to photography and web design. What began as a high school collaboration grew into a professional role where I worked directly with marketing teams and clients. It’s also deeply personal: a chance to connect design practice with Valpolicella, the wine region where I grew up.

Context &
professional scope

Spada Winery is rooted in Valpolicella, a region where wine production is closely tied to history, landscape, and family tradition. The challenge was to maintain this heritage while presenting the brand in a way that feels current, legible, and adaptable across mediums.

My role required balancing consistency and flexibility, ensuring the brand could scale from bottles and print materials to websites, social media, and event-based campaigns.

visual language & systems

The visual system emphasizes restraint, texture, and materiality, allowing the wine itself to remain central. Typography, color, and layout were developed to work cohesively across packaging and digital formats, supporting recognition without visual excess.

Photography plays a key role in the brand, focusing on atmosphere, process, and place rather than product alone. This approach reinforces authenticity and continuity, grounding the brand in lived experience.

Campaigns & Collaborations

In addition to ongoing brand maintenance, I worked on campaign-based projects and collaborations that required the brand to adapt to specific narratives and audiences. This included limited campaigns, event materials, and collaborative content with external partners, where the visual system was extended without losing coherence.

These moments tested the brand’s flexibility, allowing it to respond to new contexts while remaining recognizably rooted in its core identity.

Designing in practice

Unlike speculative or academic projects, this work reflects design in an ongoing, real-world context. Decisions were shaped by production constraints, client feedback, and evolving needs over time.

Spada Winery demonstrates my ability to sustain a long-term design relationship, adapt systems as they grow, and move fluidly between branding, photography, and digital design while maintaining a coherent voice.
